Services

IWS provide a range of waste management solutions for Businesses, Councils and Households. We provide services to manage your municipal waste, commercial and industrial waste, organics, council street sweepings, clean soil and more. Please refer to ‘Our Facilities’ to find the right location to suit your waste disposal needs.

Resource recovery

IWS extracts recyclable content from mixed waste streams and recycles source separated waste streams.

Materials received from councils, commercial and residential premises are processed using a range of cutting edge technologies to recover and recycle organics, timber, metals, gyprock, plastics, paper, cardboard, mattresses, E‐waste and others. Our processes maximise the opportunity to recycle and reuse instead of sending material direct to landfill.

Commercial composting

Organics comes to IWS from Council FOGO bins, Garden maintenance contractors, Development sites and household bulk green organics drop off.

We process this material to produce high quality compost and mulch for the South Australian agricultural sector and home gardeners. We sell our products under the Living Earth brand, a trusted brand that has been producing compost and mulch in New Zealand for over 20 years, having been introduced by IWS to Australia in 2023. To find out more refer to Living Earth Composts and Mulches.

Specialist treatment

IWS processes highly contaminated waste, soil, industrial residues and liquid treatment plant residues.

On site at Dublin is a fully enclosed facility with a purpose built ventilation system and bio‐filter that provides a controlled and safe environment for the processing and treatment of this waste stream and eliminates the risk of dust and odour impacts. Due to the custom requirements this is a quoted service. For more information please contact us.

Disposal

Material that cannot be recycled or reused is stored in landfill at our Dublin Eco Hub site.

The landfill is designed and constructed to meet SA EPA standards. Our modular system provides 30 million cubic metres of potential waste space, this allows IWS to strategically plan out areas for waste storage only when required. The cellular construction means it can be tailored in size to meet any future requirements for waste disposal, accommodate future expansion in resource recovery and progressively innovate with new and emerging technology.

Education

IWS has a unique advantage of being able to contribute waste management services in all levels of the Waste Management Hierarchy.

IWS value education as a critical component for Avoiding or Reducing waste in the first instance and as such has invested significantly in the development of the Largest and most visited Waste Education facility. For enquiries on community or school group tours please Contact Us or our education partner KESAB.
