IWS produces high quality compost and mulch products to sell to the agricultural and landscaping applications. Launched in 2023, Living Earth Australia has been created off the back of over 30 years experience in New Zealand.
Creating a nutrient‐rich, organic compost
The Living Earth Brand has been an international brand for over 30 years and is now in Australia. The nutrientrich, organic compost is now locally produced by IWS and available to the market in Australia. Our scientist have researched, explored, and evolved our products to bring you a trusted product that will enrich your farm or garden.
All our products Australian Standard Certified, this means our products have passed rigorous quality and performance testing.
We have created a number of products available for purchase and application. Our five products are available for purchase in bulk or via our Hulca bag service .
Living Earth Compost is a compost blend of organic carbon sources such as food organics and garden organics.
Living Earth Compost is ideal for productive soils and general domestic garden beds to enrich life back into the natural soil. Please refer to the Compost Information Sheet for more details.
Living Earth Compost+ is a customised, premium compost blend of mushroom compost and organic carbon sources such as food and garden organics.
Living Earth Compost+ is suitable for gardeners and farmers looking to employ a soil conditioner which can reduce or eliminate synthetic fertilisers and improve soil structure. Please refer to the Compost+ Information sheet for more details.
Living Earth Mulch is a composted mulch comprised of organic carbon sources.
It is a composted surface mulch which provides water saving benefits, while also enriching the soil with organic carbon and essential microbes. Living Earth Mulch is ideal for domestic gardens, agricultural or horticultural applications and placement around plants, trees and shrubs. Living Earth Timber Mulch
Living Earth Timber Mulch is a coarse mulch produced from recycled wood and is screened to provide a consistent and durable product.

The Hulca bag service provides the convenience of delivering our Living Earth products in flexible cubic metre bags, using a crane or forklift, to areas with limited space that conventional tipper trucks cannot access.
